Mary Tollefson

Mary E. Tollefson, Attorney, focuses on family law. Mary graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in political science and a minor in Latin. She received her law degree from Willamette University. While in law school, she clerked at the Marion County District Attorney Support Enforcement Division. After law school, Mary worked for several years as a family law attorney in Newport, Oregon. She is a member of the Oregon State Bar, Oregon State Bar Family Law Section, Multnomah Bar Association, Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, the Multnomah Bar Association YOUth Film Project, and the Oregon New Lawyers Division Pro Bono Committee. She participated in the Imprint Program through Multnomah Bar Association and she has volunteered as a judge for a college mock trial competition. She has handled a broad range of family law matters, including divorces, custody, domestic partnerships, legal separations, and modifications, and restraining orders.

Mary considers herself a bit of an amateur chef, and in her spare time, enjoys cooking, and baking. She also enjoys cheering on Husky basketball and football teams.
